How to Enable ActiveX & Javascript in Windows XP
JavaScript and ActiveX allows webmasters to embed certain functions or features into a webpage. Webmasters commonly use ActiveX to embed multimedia components and JavaScript to install and read cookies, and to create and process forms.
If JavaScript and ActiveX are disabled on your Windows XP computer, you will not be able to use these features when accessing a webpage. To enable JavaScript and ActiveX, you must reconfigure the Internet Options, accessible from the Control Panel.
