How to Get High School Transcripts in Ontario
If you are seeking higher education in Ontario, you will have to present your transcript either in part or in full to potential colleges and universities. This makes it extremely important to obtain an official copy of your transcript. The provincial government maintains an official copy of the transcripts of all students that have taken courses in Ontario high schools; however, unless you are applying to a university or college in Ontario you will have to get your transcript from your former high school.

Tips & Warnings
If you are planning to apply to Ontario colleges or universities online your transcript will be automatically requested by OntarioColleges.ca or the Ontario Universities' Application Centre.
You may already have your transcript and not realize it. All Ontario high schools present you with your full high school transcript upon graduation.
Since individual transcript requests are done on a school-by-school basis, you should allot considerable time between the submission of your transcript and when you need to present your transcript for employment or higher education.
