How to Make Xbox Games Work on a PC

Playing console games on your computer is easier than ever.

For a long time, consoles were far more powerful than PCs in terms of strictly playing games. Nowadays, with computers becoming more powerful, emulating modern console games is becoming easier. Playing Xbox games on a modern PC is as simple as launching an emulator and selecting which of the many Xbox games you want to play.

Things You'll Need

• Xbox ROMs (.xbe files)
• Xbox emulator

Instructions

1. Boot your Xbox emulator. See References for a source of emulators if you don't have one.

2. Click "File" and select "Load XBE" from the list of options. This will open a new Windows Explorer window.

3. Select the Xbox game you want to load and click "Open." If an Xbox DVD is in your computer's DVD drive, select the drive to boot the game.

Tips & Warnings

• To play the games more easily, consider customizing the button layout in the emulator's options menu.
