How to Get the Spartan Armor on Halo 3

Halo 3 once again allows players to control the Spartan Elite Master Chief character as he shoots his way through countless Covenant and Flood foes. Released in September 2007, Halo 3 follows the formula of Halo 2, but vastly improves upon it for the Xbox 360 console. Halo 3 provides three armor options--helmets, shoulder armor and body armor--that you can unlock and use to make your Spartan soldier unique.

Instructions

Helmets

1. Unlock the EVA helmet by completing the Campaign mode on any difficulty except Easy.

2. Earn the EOD helmet by completing the Campaign mode on the Legendary difficulty setting.

3. Unlock the Security helmet by earning 1,000 Gamerscore points through accomplishing all the Halo 3 achievements.

4. Unlock the Scout helmet by accomplishing the "Used Car Salesman" achievement. To do this, destroy a vehicle with three enemies (killing the enemies) during Campaign or Ranked game play.

5. Earn the rank of Sergeant through online gameplay to unlock the Mark V helmet. This finishes the "UNSC Spartan" achievement.

6. Unlock the ODST helmet by completing 10 ranked matches, thus accomplishing the "Spartan Graduate" achievement.

7. Earn the Rogue helmet by accomplishing the "Spartan Graduate" achievement. To do this, earn the Spartan Officer rank through online game play.

8. Find all 13 skulls hidden throughout the Campaign mode to unlock the Hayabusa helmet.

Shoulder and Body Armor

1. Complete The Ark level during Campaign mode on any difficulty setting except Easy to unlock the EVA shoulder armor.

2. Complete The Ark level during Campaign mode on the Legendary difficulty setting to unlock the EOD shoulder armor.

3. Unlock the Security shoulder armor by earning 750 Gamerscore points. Do this by accomplishing various Halo 3 achievements.

4. Unlock the Scout shoulder armor by accomplishing the "We're In For Some Chop" achievement. To do this, use equipment such as a Trip Mine to destroy an enemy vehicle during Campaign or Ranked game play.

5. Find nine skulls hidden throughout the Campaign mode to unlock the Hayabusa shoulder armor.

6. Complete the Tsavo Highway level during Campaign mode on any difficulty setting except Easy and unlock the EVA body armor.

7. Complete the Tsavo Highway level during Campaign mode on the Legendary difficulty setting and unlock the EOD body armor.

8. Unlock the Scout body armor by accomplishing the "Too Close To The Sun" achievement. Destroy an enemy Banshee with a Missile Pod or Spartan Laser during Campaign or Ranked game play to get this achievement.

9. Earn the Hayabusa body armor by finding five skulls hidden throughout the Campaign mode.
