How to Find an NPI for a Pharmacy

How to Find an NPI for a Pharmacy thumbnail
You can find a pharmacy's NPI online.

The National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a 10-digit number given to all health providers and health care organizations, including pharmacies. NPIs are a uniform way of coding and tracking all medical service providers. The National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) recommends that every licensed pharmacy obtain a NPI number, because medical billing now requires an NPI on every transaction.
