How to Convert a WAV File to a CD
Waveform Audio Format (WAV) is the common format for storing and distributing songs or any other audio recordings. Converting such files to CD allows you to play songs on a regular CD player. The multimedia player Windows Media Player, included in every Windows version, allows users to easily burn WAV files to a disc to create a music CD.

Insert a blank recordable CD (CD-R) in the optical drive of your computer or laptop.

Start Windows Media Player.

Click the tab "Burn" in Windows Media Player. The prompt to create a burn list will appear on the right panel of the program window.

Click the Windows "Start" button, and then click on "Computer" to open Windows Explorer.

Find WAV audio files on your computer using Windows Explorer.

Drag each WAV file to the right panel of Windows Media Player to add the files to the burn list.

Click the button "Start Burn." The disc is typically ejected automatically when burning is done.
