How to Uninstall MSN Messenger from a Mac
MSN Messenger for Mac does not include an uninstaller application. Removing applications on a Mac computer usually involves deleting the application file, according to The Unofficial Apple Weblog. However, if you do not also remove the preference file for MSN Messenger, your account information will remain on the computer. Open the “Applications” folder.

Click on the “Microsoft Messenger” icon, drag it to the “Trash” icon and drop it.

Click on your Mac hard drive under “Devices.” Double-click on the “Users” folder. Double-click on your user account. Double-click the “Library” folder. Double-click the “Preferences” folder.

Click the “com.Microsoft.Messenger” file, drag it to the “Trash” icon and drop it.

Return to the Finder and open the “Finder” menu. Select “Empty Trash.” Press the “Empty Trash” button to uninstall MSN Messenger.

it didn't work to me. I had to find all the folder in the finder, delet each one and the icon on desktop and dock didn't disapered, so I had to "force quit" the MSN in the apple menu and "force eject" the icon on desktop as well. now its gone.
