How to Sync a Mac Address Book to a BlackBerry
By default, your BlackBerry mobile device is not configured to work with Macintosh computers, but with the use of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager program, your computer can synchronize data to and from the mobile device. When syncing contacts, the program will transfer contacts from your BlackBerry phone and add them to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and will transfer existing contacts from your Mac Address Book to the mobile device.

Click "Go" at the top of the screen on your Macintosh computer and select "Applications" from the drop-down menu.

Double-click the "BlackBerry Desktop Manager" icon in the Applications folder to run the program, and plug the BlackBerry USB cable into the computer's empty USB port and into the BlackBerry dock connector, located on the bottom of your BlackBerry mobile device.

Click the "Contacts" link under the Information section located on the left side of the Desktop Manager window. Click the "Two Way" button in the Sync Contacts section.

Check the box next to "Sync All Contacts and Groups," and click the "Sync" button to sync your contacts from the computer to the mobile device and back.

Unplug the USB cable from the computer once the synchronization is complete.
