How to Make a Boot Disk for XP Virus Removal
A boot disk is a diskette that you insert into a computer before it is turned on, then, when the computer turns on, it will boot from the disk instead of from your hard drive. One of the most common instances in which you would do this, is if your computer had a virus and you needed a boot disk to fix it. A virus can disrupt the hard drive functions and ruin the operating system in a number of ways, in which case, a boot disk is needed. If you are willing to invest a few minutes of your time, you can make your own boot disk for Windows XP.
