How to Get Rid of Ad World Pop-Ups

Pop-ups can interfere with your web browsing.

Pop-ups are small windows that open on your computer without your permission. Generally, pop-ups display advertisements. Additionally, some pop-ups may be designed to trick you into revealing your personal information, such as your credit card number. One way to block pop-ups, including Ad World, is to purchase a third party pop-up blocker. However, you can also block pop-ups for free using your Internet web browser.

Instructions

Internet Explorer

1. Click on "Tools" and then "Options."

2. Click on the "Privacy" tab.

3. Check the box next to "Turn on Pop Up Blocker."

Mozilla Firefox

1. Click on "Tools" and then "Options."

2. Click on the "Web Features" button on the left side of the "Options" window.

3. Check the box next to "Block Popup Windows."

Tips & Warnings

• Some computer viruses are designed to flood your computer with pop-up advertisements. Thus, if the aforementioned steps do not put an end to the Ad World pop-ups, consider running your antivirus program.
