The Sony NW-E205 Walkman Bean offers USB charging and flash-memory features. A major selling point, the Walkman Bean provides three hours playback for every three minutes of charging time, according to Sony. In addition, Walkman Bean offers between 512MB and 1GB storage space. Turning on your Sony Kidney Bean Walkman requires that you transfer music, charge the device and ensure the "Hold" button is not activated.

      Install the SonicStage software and transfer music files. Your Walkman requires transferred music files using the SonicStage software to play back music files. Insert the CD-ROM that came with your Walkman and follow the prompts to complete the installation. Transfer the music you would like on your Walkman.

      Charge your Sony Walkman. Connect your Walkman by opening the slide cover and inserting the USB connector into your computer.
