How to Remove Stains on Vinyl Floors
Vinyl floors are one of the most resilient flooring options on the market today. They are a very low maintenance floor because they are durable and are not prone to many stains. However, stains do occur, like heel marks, scuff marks, spilled liquids and sticky substances. Thankfully, vinyl is not a porous surface, so the stain removal and cleaning of the floor can be done with basic household cleaning products. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

Spot Cleaning

Mix ½ cup of rubbing alcohol with 1 cup of warm water.

Dip the cloth into the solution.

Scrub the stain until it is gone.

Dry with a towel or allow the surface to air dry.
Mopping

Mix 2 cups of white vinegar for each 1/2 gallon of warm water in the bucket.

Dip the mop in the bucket and wring out the excess liquid.

Mop the floor from the most cut off point to the area with an exit.

Allow the floor to air dry.

Repeat once a week.

Tips & Warnings
Add 10 drops of essential oil for every gallon of solution to create an invigorating scent for each room. If you choose to use other cleaning products, make sure that they are approved by the manufacturer before using them on your floor.
Do not use abrasive scrubbing tools or products that contain wax. This can leave a build up on the floor and produce scratches. Never use a vacuum with a beater bar on the vinyl floor.
