Instructions

    • 1

Place a large plate on poster board. Outline the plate with a pencil and cut it out with sharp scissors.

    • 2

Place a saucer in the center of the circle you cut out. Outline the saucer with a pencil and cut it out with sharp scissors.

    • 3

Cut a 6-inch piece from the fishing line. Fold the fishing line in half to make a loop.

    • 4

Place the loop at the back top of the circle you made. Glue it in place with a hot glue gun. This is your hanger.

    • 5

Lay your paper on a flat clean surface. Fold it into three equal sections, then fold it in half.

    • 6

Use your pencil to draw the image of a leaf on the top folded section. The leaf should be oblong and as large as the folded section.

    • 7

Cut out the image, cutting all the sections at once. Use pinking shears if you want to give your leaves a decorative edge.

    • 8

Fold, draw and cut out more leaves in the same method. You will need about six to 10 sheets of paper cut outs for a nice wreath.

    • 9

Start at the inner circle of the wreath. Glue leaves end over end in the same direction. Glue just the left end. Overlap the leaves so no paper is showing. Start a second circle on top and around the first layer. Continue until the entire wreath is layered.

    • 10

Allow the glue to dry overnight. Then hang your wreath using the hanger.

Tips & Warnings
