How to Connect a Wireless Intec Controller to a PS2

Wireless controllers do away with awkward lengths of cord between the player and the console.

Intec wireless controllers for the Sony PlayStation 2 need to be connected and synced with the console, if you want them to work properly. Syncing an Intec controller to your PlayStation 2 may be confusing if you're inexperienced with wireless technology, but don't fret. It only takes a few seconds to learn, and once you have it down, you're set and ready to start gaming again.

Things You'll Need

• Intec wireless controller
• Intec wireless receiver (included with controller)

Instructions

1. Open the controller's back panel and insert the appropriate type of battery into the compartment. Though most wireless controllers use AA batteries, read the inside of the battery housing to distinguish the type of batteries that you need, and the direction of placement.

2. Insert the wireless receiver into either controller port. Inserting it into the first controller port assigns the controller to the first player position, while inserting it into the second port assigns the controller to the second player.

3. Power on your PlayStation 2.

4. Press the connect button on the wireless receiver. Then press the connect button on the controller and wait a few seconds. The controller is now synced with your PlayStation 2.

Tips & Warnings

• If you notice that your wireless controller is performing poorly, try replacing the batteries.
