1
Attend an accredited flying school in Canada. The flying school will give you the knowledge and skills needed to take and pass the tests needed to get your pilot's license.

2
Be prepared to take and pass a medical exam. The medical exam includes a basic physical fitness test and of course, an eye exam. You can still become a pilot in Canada if you need to wear corrective lenses, but being color-blind may prohibit you from flying. Your medical and eye exams should be taken before you start your flight lessons.
