How to Burn a CD & DVD Fast

How to Burn a CD & DVD Fast thumbnail
Burn your CDs and DVDs fast.

Not all CD and DVD burners are made equal. This is because the actual write speed of the burner can change. A faster burner speed decreases the time it takes to create a disc on the computer. However, there is another factor in the quickness of your disc burn: the speed of the CD itself. If the burn speed on your CD burner is 48x and the CD can only burn at 32x, your ultimate creation speed is only 32x.

Choose the disc format you want to create (video CD, video DVD, data DVD, audio CD or data CD). Import the content to the burner (click "Add Files" or click and drag the files into the program) and click "Burn." The CD/DVD burner now burns the disc as quickly as possible.
