Instructions

    • 1

Lay Christmas-themed scrapbook paper on a work table, right side down so that the back, or the secondary side, is facing up.

    • 2

Hold a heart-shaped cookie cutter on the paper and trace the outline with a pencil. Repeat this step until six hearts have been traced.

    • 3

Cut the six hearts out with fancy scissors just inside the outline made in pencil.

    • 4

Fold each heart in half to make a crease. Open and align the six hearts together and staple them in the center on the crease near the top and near the bottom. Open the hearts to make the ornament with uniform sides.

    • 5

Cut a 12-inch strip of satin ribbon. Fold it in half and make a knot 2-inches from the center. With the knot on top, put the two hanging strips of ribbon on both sides of the stapled center of the heart ornament. Tie the ribbon on the bottom of the ornament.

    • 6

Tie on a small bell to the bottom of the ornament with the ribbon. Cut off any ribbon excess with scissors. Attach Christmas-themed embellishments, such as tiny holiday decorations or bows, around the top of the ornament with hot glue.
