How to Place Free Job Ads
Posting jobs can be a relatively expensive process on some career search websites. Prices on the most expensive sites can cost more than $200 per job, and usually your posting is live for only a limited amount of time. However, there are some sites that do not charge fees for job postings, giving you the financial freedom to place job ads for all of your company's job openings.

1
Explore different free job posting websites available on the Internet. Many of them reach different types of people and accept job ads only for specific fields and industries. Some of the more general, free job posting sites include: PostJobFree, CentralHR and Today's Classifieds (See resources).
-
2
Read the "Terms of Service" for the site you have selected. Each site has its own rules for placing job ads. For example, some sites will not allow you to leave your phone number in the job ad, preferring that you administer all initial communication with respondents through their website.

3
Familiarize yourself with the federal rules regarding hiring and employment. You can find all of the guidelines and regulations at the Department of Labor's website (See resources).
-
4
Enter the job description for the job opening you are promoting, and be sure to include prerequisites and job responsibilities, as well as any specific instructions you have for applying to the job.
-
5
Submit your job ad and make sure your placement can be found in a search of the website's job database.
