Instructions

    • 1

Place the two pieces of fabric together with the right sides of the fabric facing each other. The right side of the fabric will be the brightly printed side, the wrong side will be duller.

    • 2

Sew three sides of the fabric together 1/4 of an inch from the edge. On the fourth side leave a 2-inch opening.

    • 3

Turn the fabric pouch right side out. Pinch the batting to stuff it through the 2-inch opening in the pouch. Use your fingers to smooth the batting inside the pouch. Fill the pouch the rest of the way with whatever dried material you have decided to use.

    • 4

Tuck the raw edges of the fabric at the opening in 1/4 of an inch and sew the opening shut with a whip stitch. A whip stitch is when you stick the needle through both layers of fabric. Then you bring the needle over the top of the fabric edges, back to the side you started on and repeat the stitch.
