How to Transfer Music to My MP3 Player on Creative Media

Transfer music to your MP3 player using Creative Media.

Creative Media is a streamlined software program, available in three editions, for transferring music to MP3 players. Working with all three versions is an easy process that will have new music on your MP3 player in minutes.

Things You'll Need

• Creative Media (Source, Explorer or Lite)
• USB cord

Instructions

Creative MediaSource

1. Connect your MP3 player to your computer using the USB cord.

2. Open Creative MediaSource on your computer and switch it to "Organizer" view using the "Player/Organizer" view arrow. Player view looks like a car radio interface, and Organizer view is a simplified interface that shows the folders on your computer.

3. Click on the source that you would like to transfer your music from in the "Sources" window (e.g., "My Computer," "My Music," etc.).

4. Select the tracks to transfer from the content window. Select multiple tracks by holding down the "Ctrl" key while clicking on track titles.

5. Click the "View" button on the menu bar and check "Show Right Panel." Click the "Source" bar once you're in the Right Panel and select your MP3 player as the destination of the transfer. Click the "Transfer" button. Wait 10 seconds after the transfer is complete before breaking the connection between your PC and your MP3 player.

Creative Media Explorer

1. Connect your MP3 player to your computer using the USB cord.

2. Open Creative Media Explorer.

3. Click the "Add Media" button to choose which files you will be transferring to your MP3 player. Hold the "Ctrl" key while clicking on song titles for multiple selections. Follow the onscreen instructions and select "Transfer" to complete the process.

Creative Media Lite

1. Open Creative Media Lite.

2. Connect your MP3 player to your computer using the USB cord.

3. Choose the files that you will be transferring to your MP3 player. Hold the "Ctrl" key while clicking on song titles for multiple selections.

4. Once all of your songs are selected, click on the button with an arrow pointing to the right. This indicates that the files you selected on the left side will be transferred to the player's memory.
