Instructions

    • 1

Measure a 6” x 12” rectangle or other desirable shape onto a piece of brown paper with a ruler and pencil.

    • 2

Cut the shape out with pinking shears.

    • 3

Using a hole puncher, punch some holes around the card about ½” around the entire length of the card's edge.

    • 4

Starting at the top middle section of the card, thread ribbon through the holes you punched in the card. Continue threading the ribbon in an even under and over pattern until the two ends meet at the top. Tie the ribbon ends into a bow and cut away the excess ribbon.

    • 5

Draw a get well greeting onto the face of the card and sign it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Note that the more holes you punch into the card, the more time you will spend adding the ribbon.

  • The card will look better if it has evenly spaced holes.

  • The marker may bleed through the paper so you may wish to set the paper on top of a piece of folded newspaper to blot up any stray ink as you write.
