How to Get Demon Ship Parts on "Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" for the DS
You'll spend much of your time in "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" sailing the high seas in search of new lands, collecting treasures and battling beasts along the way. Your ship starts out with four hearts (like hit points, a measure of how much damage the ship can withstand), but if you collect hidden ship parts you can improve its capabilities. Should you manage to find all eight Demon Ship pieces, you'll have seven hearts, and you can increase your total to eight if you manage to find golden versions of all eight pieces.

1
Find treasure maps throughout the course of the game to locate new ship parts. 22 of the game's 31 treasure maps will lead you to a ship part.
-
2
Follow the treasure map to the marked location. Save the game and then use your ship's salvage arm to reach the sunken treasure.
-
-
3
Open the sunken treasure and check your ship part's name. For the Demon Ship, you need the following parts: Demon Prow, Sickle Anchor, Demon Ship, Fear Cannon, Spiked Handrail, Demon Prison, Demon Chimney and Insect Wheel.
-
4
Restart your Nintendo DS if the piece you found does not match the Demon set (or, if you're going for a gold ship, if the piece is a Demon piece but not a gold Demon piece). Ship parts are always randomized, so you can continue resetting and digging up the same treasure over and over until you find the part you need. Move on to the next sunken treasure once you've found a piece worth keeping and repeat this process.
-
5
Buy ship parts from Beedle's floating shop. You can find Beedle in all four quadrants and his ship is marked on the map by an icon of his head (face with large nose and brown hair). The ship parts on his shop will be randomized, so you can repeatedly leave his shop, sail to a new quadrant, and enter again to see if he has a part you need.
-
6
Collect ship parts from treasure chests in dungeons. Always save your game before opening a treasure chest so that you can reset the game and try again if it's not a piece you need.
-
7
Trade ship parts with your friends over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection if they have any pieces you need and are willing to swap.
