My Math Lab is a valuable resource for high school and college students alike. You can do homework assigned by your teacher and get immediate results. You are only allowed three attempts at any one problem in the homework section. This is not a problem, however, because the exercises from the book are available on the My Math Lab website. You are allowed as many attempts as you need to complete these exercises.

      Log in to your My Math Lab account.

      Log in to My Math Lab by typing Coursecompass.com directly into the address field in your browser's toolbar. Click the "Log In" button on the web page and enter your user name and password. If you don't have a user name and password, click the "Register" button under the student heading and follow the directions for creating a new account. You will need a My Math Lab authorization code found in your Pearson text book.

      Click the "ebook" button on the left side of the page. This will open the textbook section of the website.

      Choose the chapter and subchapter.

      Click on the desired chapter, then click the desired subchapter. This opens a page where you can watch a video, read the text, look at the homework you have completed, or work practice exercises. Click the "Multimedia Textbook Exercise Set" button, this will pop up a new screen that will let you can view the exercises.

Tips & Warnings

  • Your browser must be set to accept pop-ups in order to view exercises.

  • The website will work with most browsers, if you have trouble viewing the site, try using a different browser such as Firefox 2, Internet Explorer 6 or 7, Safari 3, or Netscape 7.2.
