How to Create a Boot Disk With Imgburn
According to CNET, ImgBurn is a lightweight and easy-to-use disc image burning application that ranks as one of the top-twenty CD burning applications available in CNET's vast repository of freeware, shareware and commercial software. Burning a boot disk with ImgBurn is effectively what the program was designed to do and the task takes just a few seconds to complete. Once the image is burned to disc, simply load it into your system and you are ready to boot from the CD/DVD-ROM.

Download and install ImgBurn (see "Resources" section for link).

Launch ImgBurn.

Select "Write image file to disc."

Select a disc image file (.ISO) under "Source."

Insert the blank CD. ImgBurn will detect the CD and identify it under "Destination."

Click "Write." The disc image will be burned to disc. Once the process is complete, re-insert the disc to boot from it.

Restart your computer.

Immediately press F10 or Delete at system startup to access the BIOS. (Depending on your computer, it may be a different key to access the BIOS. Simply consult the bottom of your screen once the computer starts to determine how to access the BIOS.)

Select "Advanced" or "Boot" to change the boot order of your devices.

Move CD/DVD-ROM to the top of the boot list.

Save and exit the BIOS to restart the computer. The system will now boot to the disc which is in the CD/DVD-ROM.
