Whether you have your own website, or are using a profile-based service such as MySpace or Facebook, having a picture slide show will make your page much more interesting for your visitors. You can show off your photos in a fun and interactive way without taking up tons of space on the page. With Slideroll Gallery or Slide.com, you can create a picture slide show quickly and for free.

      Download and install Slideroll for either Mac or Windows. Create an account by clicking "Sign up" on the Slideroll website.

      Load Slideroll, click the "Create" tab and drag the photos you wish to use into the main window. You can rearrange the order by clicking and dragging the thumbnails.

      Click the "Preview" tab to see your slide show. You can choose a different layout by clicking the "Change Layout" button. Click "Edit Title & Colors" to change colors.

      Click the "Save & Publish" tab, then choose "Publish" from the bottom menu. Choose "Private" from the pop-up window. Enter your user name and password that you signed up with and click "Log in." Your gallery will be uploaded to Slideroll.

      Click "Share Gallery." You are given the embed code that you can use to add your gallery to your web page. Click "Copy" to copy the code to the clipboard, then paste it into the HTML code of your website. If you do not have your own website, you can select "Email Link" to have your own Slideroll page sent to your email. Then share your gallery with anybody you wish.

      Visit the Slide website. In the "Add Images From" box click "Browse" and select a photo from your computer. Repeat for each photo you wish to add. When you are done click the green "Save" button to be taken to the Save Slideshow page.

      Enter your details into the boxes such as "Title," "Location" and "Name." Click "Save Slideshow."

      Choose the website that you wish to add your slide show to from the left menu. Copy the code from the "Copy This Code" box, then follow the instructions underneath to add the code to your MySpace, Facebook or other web page.
