      Place the Honda in "Park" and allow the vehicle to cool for a half hour.

      Open the hood and locate the air filter housing. The housing is a big, plastic, rectangular case next to the coolant surge tank on the driver's side.

      Unhook the clips surrounding the air filter housing and lift up the cover. This gives you access to the filter.

      Lift the air filter out of place to remove it completely. Use a rag to clear away debris and dirt left in the housing.

      Install a clean air filter by simply placing it into the air filter housing. Push the cover back into place and press down each clip surrounding the casing. Close the hood.
