How to Get AIM on a Mobile Phone
AOL Instant Messenger, or AIM, is one of the most popular instant messaging programs. AOL has even created multiple ways to use AIM when you’re not at your home computer. You can use a Web- based AIM, AIM by text and even have an AIM application on your phone.

Open your Web browser and navigate to the AIM home page.

Click on the “Products” tab at the top.

Look for your mobile operating system under the “Mobile” list. You can choose from iPad, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry or Windows Mobile.

Click the “Send to Cell” button under your operating system.

Enter the phone number or email address attached to the phone and click “Send.”

Open the link sent to your phone via text message or email.

Click “Download” on the Web page that opens up.

Confirm the download and accept the terms. You will be able to log in to your AIM username after the download is complete.

Tips & Warnings
Many phones that do not run iPhone, Android, BlackBerry or Windows Mobile operating systems come pre-installed with AIM or pre-installed with an application browser where you can download AIM. Check your phone first to see if you have this option.
