How to Install a Lexmark Z600 Printer Without a CD

When you initially purchased your Lexmark Z600 laser printer, it came with a CD-ROM that had on it important software that was required to run your printer on your computer. Without installing this software, the printer will not work and will be effectively useless. You can, however, install this software even if you have no idea where you put the CD-ROM or if your Lexmark Z600 never came with a disc.

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser.

2. Go to the download page for the Lexmark Z600 printer driver (see "References" section for link).

3. Click "Download Now." The Lexmark Z600 driver software install file will download to your computer. It is 9.35MB in size.

4. Double-click on the Lexmark Z600 driver file. Click "Extract." The driver for the Lexmark Z600 will now install on your computer. This will have the same effect as it would have if you would have installed the driver off of the CD-ROM that came with the printer.
