Beads used in netting

String nets with beads are a type of hair accessory made famous in ancient times. Early versions were called snoods. These nets gathered long hair into a net. Smaller versions that trapped hair into a bun were called cauls. These fancy hair pieces are returning to fashion as bridal choices. Making a string net with beads requires patience and a bit of experimentation to achieve exactly the size and shape you want.
