How to Clear the Internet History in Windows XP
All Web browsers track your Internet viewing history by default. They not only store the title and address of each page you view, but also the date and time each page is accessed. Taken together, this information allows you--or anyone with access to your browser--to quickly sort through the list of every site you've visited. You can delete this information any time you like. Because this information is stored by the browser, you must delete it directly through the browser, not through Windows XP. Once you know where to look, performing the deletion is a very quick task.
