How to Remove Scuff Marks on Leather

Leather is popular for its style and comfort level. Unfortunately, one of the downsides of leather is that scuff marks can appear quite easily. These scuff marks are not only unsightly, they're also tough to get out with just water. Fortunately, you can use a few products to remove scuff marks from your leather items.

Things You'll Need

• Soft cloth
• Toothpaste
• Lemon juice
• Tartar sauce
• Container

Instructions

Leather Shoes

1. Apply a small amount of toothpaste to the affected area.

2. Rub the toothpaste into the scuff mark with a soft cloth.

3. Dampen the cloth and wipe the shoe clean.

Leather Furniture

1. Create a 50/50 mix of lemon juice and tartar sauce in a container.

2. Dip a portion of a soft cloth in the mixture and rub it onto the scuffed area of your leather furniture. Allow 10 minutes for the mixture to work on the mark.

3. Wipe the spot clean with a dampened area of a soft cloth.
