  • Wood
  • Power saw
  • Hand saw
  • Rough sandpaper
  • Light grain sandpaper
  • Paint
  • Wood stain

Instructions

      Take a piece of wood which is about an inch thick, or thicker, and cut out different shapes. Example two inch by two inch squares, two inch base triangles, pentagons, five-point stars and the like.

      Repeat step one until you have at least 10 or more pieces.

      Use rough sand paper to smooth out the edges of each of the pieces cut out in steps one and two.

      Use light grain sandpaper to smooth out each of the pieces cut out in steps one and two.

      Paint or stain each of the pieces, if you want. Leaving them unfinished, but smooth, also works.
