      Purchase a cell phone data extraction tool kit. This tool kit allows you to read the data from your (subscriber identity module), which is the little white piece of plastic that holds the memory on your phone. You can purchase them from various online spy and gadget stores such as SpyAssociates, BrickHouseSecurity, and Dekart (see resources below). As of 2010 these devices cost between $69.95-$149.95.

      Take the CD-rom that comes with the kit and insert it into the drive on your computer. The installation wizard will ask you if you wish to install the software click "Yes" and follow the directions.

      Turn your cell phone off and remove the battery and the SIM card.

      Insert the SIM card into the slot on the cell phone data extraction device and plug it into your computer.

      Launch the application that you installed by going to the "Start Menu" and clicking on the program.

      Go to "File" and "Download Text Messages." In the application window you will see a list of all of your deleted and undeleted text messages. The undeleted ones will be marked in red. Find the one that you wish to undelete and right-click on it. Select "Undelete Text Message" and the file will be restored.
