How to Enable JavaScript XP
JavaScript is the computer programming language used by internet browsing software to make web pages interactive. If you are on a computer running Windows XP, then you are very likely to use either Internet Explorer or Firefox as your primary web browser. Enabling and disabling JavaScript in either of those browsers can be done in just a few clicks, even if you don't know very much about computers or the Internet.

Click "Tools > Options" to open the options dialog.

Click the "Content" tab icon.

Check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.

Click "OK" to close the Options dialog.
Internet Explorer

Click "Tools > Internet Options" to open the Internet Options dialog.

Click the "Security tab" then click "Custom Level..."

Scroll to the "Scripting" heading, and click "Enable" under "Active scripting."

Click "OK" twice to exit the Internet options dialog.

Tips & Warnings
Disabling JavaScript is a great way to keep your browser secure and block many advertisements, but many sites will not work properly without it. If you visit a site that seems to be broken, try re-enabling JavaScript.
