How to Remove Mozilla Firefox From a Computer
If you want to uninstall the Mozilla Firefox browser so you can reinstall it to correct problems or just remove it for good, you can quickly delete it on a PC or a Mac. If Firefox is your only browser, remember to install a new browser before you proceed with removal.

Close Firefox if you have a browser window open.

Click the "Start" button, and select "Control Panel."

Click "Uninstall a Program" if you are running Windows 7 or Vista, or click "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows 2000 or XP.

Locate "Mozilla Firefox" in the list of installed programs, and click "Uninstall" in Vista or 7, or "Remove" in Windows 2000 or XP.

Click "Next" in the Uninstall Wizard, and then click "Uninstall."

Close Firefox if it is open.

Click the "Applications" folder on your dock.

Locate the Firefox icon.

Drag the icon to the trash bin on your dock and empty the trash.

Tips & Warnings
To completely remove all plugins and files from your system, open your program files and right-click the "Mozilla Firefox" folder, then click "Delete." On a Mac, open the Finder from your dock and search for the "Firefox" folder that contains the "Profiles" folder and "profiles.ini" file. When you find the folder, delete it.
