Transferring your music from your iPod to a disk is very simple.

Most people know how to transfer their favorite songs to their iPod. Whether the music is pulled from a CD, the iTunes store or from your computer's hard drive, the process is very simple. Conversely, it is just as simple to transfer songs from your iPod library to a disk using iTunes. When burning a disk in iTunes, you can set the recording speed and customize the time between songs.

  • USB cord
  • iTunes
  • Blank disk

Instructions

    • 1

      Connect your iPod to your computer with the USB cord and sync as you normally would when iTunes opens. (To sync, left-click on "File" then scroll down to "Sync iPod."

      Click on the small "+" sign at the bottom, left hand side of the screen. This will create a new playlist. Make sure to name your playlist.

      Left-click on "Library" and choose which songs you would like to add to your playlist. To add a song, left-click on the title and drag the song to your new playlist. Make sure to keep a hold of the left mouse button while moving the song.

      Left-click on the new playlist to open it into a new window.

      Insert a blank disk into your computer's disk drive and click on "Burn Disk." You will see it on the bottom, right-hand side of the screen once iTunes recognized the blank disk.

      Modify as needed (recording speed, time between tracks) and then left-click on "Burn."
