Instructions

    • 1

Wear your new boots around your house. This will get you used to the feel of them and it will acclimate the boots to your feet. Don't wear them for more than an hour at a time at first over the course of two to three days; then gradually increase the amount of time you wear them.

    • 2

Bend the boots when you take them off. Using your hands, work the heel and toe as you would when walking. Wolverines have stiff leather and this may be difficult to do with a new pair at first.

    • 3

Use leather conditioner on the parts of the boot that are stiffest and that feel the most uncomfortable. The conditioner will soften up the leather and help make it more flexible.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wear thick socks and band aids on your heels when breaking in your new boots.
