How to Send a Free Fax From a Computer

Sending free faxes no longer requires a fax machine.

There are many ways to send a fax from your computer. However, the easiest and cheapest way to do so is to use a free online faxing service.

Instructions

1. Go to FaxZero.com.

2. Enter your name and email address, then enter the email and fax number of your recipient.

3. Click "Browse" and choose the file you are going to fax. Your file can be a .Doc, .DocX or .PDF file, and it can be no longer than three pages.

4. Re-type the confirmation code into the appropriate box.

5. Click "Send Free Fax Now." A confirmation email will be delivered to your inbox.

6. Click on the link in the ensuing email. You will be taken to a page that confirms that your fax has begun transmitting. Once your fax has been successfully delivered, you will receive another email in your inbox.

Tips & Warnings

• If you wish to send a document that is longer than three pages, you can use MyFax, which allows documents up to 10 pages long.
