Navigate to the folder containing the JPEG you wish to transfer and drag it to your phone’s music folder. When prompted, accept the file.

Disable Bluetooth on your computer and cell phone to ensure security and save power.

Send a JPEG File via USB Cable

Install the necessary data transfer software, if required by your cell phone manufacturer. For example, some Motorola users will need to install the Motorola Phone Tools software before transferring files.

    • 7

Connect your phone to your computer using the phone’s USB data transfer cable, once you have successfully installed the software (if necessary). Refer to your manual for specific instructions relating to your phone.

    • 8

Drag the file from the containing folder on your computer to the location you wish it to be placed on your phone, once a connection has been made. If you are using data transfer software provided by the cell phone manufacturer, follow the onscreen instructions for transferring images.
