Splitting the satelitte signal

Watching two televisions from one DirecTV receiver can be done by splitting the signal on the one receiver. It can be done in a few minutes. However, when you use one receiver for two TVs, you must watch the same program on both TVs. You can use a splitter in a DirecTV cable to hook up to another TV or use the same procedure and substitute a VCR for the second TV to record the same program you are watching.
