How to Rip Music Off an iPod Touch
The process of ripping your music from your iPod Touch requires the use of a shareware or freeware iPod manager, as iTunes does not permit music ripping from the iPod. While ripping music from your own iPod Touch is legal, sharing music from other's iPods is considered a felony and punishable by law. Music-ripping programs can be downloaded for free at software download sites, and may require you to purchase a license. By using a music-copying program you are agreeing to the terms specified in the program's license agreement that states you won't illegally copy music.
