How to Hook Up TV Audio to an Audiovox STS93

Audiovox manufactures a variety of home audio components under various trade names. The Audiovox STS93 is a home theater AV receiver with connection jacks for hooking up a variety of components, including a television. connecting the Audiovox receiver to the television's audio output requires a standard set of stereo speakers with RCA-type plugs on each end. The connection can be completed in less than a minute.

Instructions

1. Disconnect the Audiovox receiver and the TV from the electricity.

2. Connect the red and black plugs on one end of the audio cables to a set of input jacks on the back of the Audiovox receiver, such as the Auxiliary (AUX) jacks or jacks labeled specifically for a television. Match the plugs to the jack colors.

3. Insert the two plugs on the other end of the stereo cables into the red and black audio output jacks on the back panel of the television.

4. Plug in and turn on both components.

5. Dial the component selector knob on the Audiovox to the set of audio jacks connecting it to the television, such as the AUX setting.

Tips & Warnings

• Unplug the television and the Audiovox AV receiver from the power while connecting the stereo cables.
