How to Uninstall Programs in the P1i
The Sony Ericsson P1i has an "Uninstaller" function to remove software and applications you intend to permanently delete from your phone. You can use this function for the software and applications located in the phone memory as well as those located in the P1i memory card.

Click the "Main Menu" button while the phone is on standby mode. If you're within a specific program like "Messaging," "Games" or any other application, you can access the "Main Menu" by tapping the touch screen's upper left icon to go to the "Task Manager." Click the "Main Menu" from the options there.

Choose the "Control Panel" submenu. You will be prompted with the options including: "Call settings," "Connections," "Device," "Messaging," "Security," and "Other." Select "Other."

Choose "Uninstall" when prompted.

Scroll down or use the touch screen to select the software or application you want to uninstall. You can uninstall one program at a time.

Press "Yes" to confirm the uninstallation command. Click "Done" once the uninstallation process is finished.
