Connect a bluetooth headset to a pay-as-you-go phone.

Pay-as-you-go phones are wireless phones that allow you to purchase minutes for the phone. These minutes stay active and allow you to use them without paying a monthly fee or signing up for an extended contract. This is helpful if you do not use your cell phone often or cannot afford a monthly bill. However, you still have many of the same features as a standard wireless phone (one with a monthly contract), including the ability to sync bluetooth devices with your pay-as-you-go phone.

Instructions

    • 1

Power on the bluetooth headset and your pay-as-you-go phone (if it is not currently powered on).

    • 2

Press the "Menu" button on the wireless phone, then select "Bluetooth." When the screen changes select "Search for available Bluetooth devices." The phone now scans for any bluetooth equipment in the area. In a moment it states it has detected your bluetooth headset.

    • 3

Select the headset, then type in the four digit pair code. This code is unique to the bluetooth headset and is found in the user manual of the device.

    • 4

Press "OK" and the bluetooth headset pairs with your pay-as-you-go phone. All calls you receive now go directly to the wireless headset. If you want to disconnect the bluetooth set from the phone you can power the bluetooth device off.
