How to Change the Screen Size on a Dell C600

Quickly change the screen size on your Dell Latitude C600 laptop.

The Latitude C600 is a laptop computer developed and sold by Dell. It features a long-lasting battery, both touchpad and pointing stick mouse devices, wireless networking capabilities, and gives users the ability to share modules, batteries and docking stations with any of Dell's other C-series laptops. Nearly all Latitude C600 computers feature Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Changing the screen size using either operating system is a quick task.

Instructions

1. Click in a blank area on the Windows desktop and select "Properties."

2. Select the "Settings" tab in the resulting dialog box.

3. Click the slider located in the lower right corner of the dialog box. Drag it to the left to decrease the screen size, or drag it to the right to increase the size. Release your click after selecting your desired size.

4. Click "Apply" to activate the screen size change.

5. Click "Yes" when prompted if you want to maintain the new setting, or click "No" to restore your previous screen size. Return to Step 3 after clicking "No" to try a different setting.

6. Click "OK" after setting your desired screen size to close the open dialog box.
