How to Wax a Stained Cement Floor
Cement is available in many forms as attractive, durable and easy to maintain flooring. Cement flooring can be stained and scored to simulate Terra cotta tile, colored to match the rest of the home or stamped, colored and textured to look like real slate or granite. Stained cement floors stand up well to the limited foot traffic in the home and require little attention to maintain its shine and beauty. Utilizing area rugs strategically placed at entryways and regular sweeping or vacuuming will keep the floor free of abrasives that dull the finish of the stained cement. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Complete the project at one time, without stopping, for an even application.
Waxing too often will result in build-up of wax which will trap dirt and result in dull milky colored floors that may require stripping to bring back their polish.
