1
Measure the length and width of the garage doors to be sealed. This will determine how much sealer you will need to buy.
-
2
Purchase the type of sealer you will need. Most insulated garage doors will have grooves along the edges onto which a sealer can be clipped into place. If your garage doors have smooth edges, you will need a plain sealer that will be attached by glue adhesive.

Clean the tracks of the garage door. Wipe down the tracks with a damp cloth to remove the dust and grit that are on the door.

Attach the garage door sealer. For garage doors with tracks, snap the sealer's grooved edges right into the channel on the edge of the garage door. Secure the seals with screws. Screw in both ends of the channel as well as the middle. Continue attaching the sealer to the rest of the garage door.
