1
Groom your dog thoroughly to ensure less fur is shed. Use a dog's grooming brush to brush through the fur. The grooming brush will help remove excess fur from the coat.
-
2
Roll a strip of duct into a circle, with the adhesive part on the outside of the circle. Go over your clothing with the tape to remove excess fur. This will help prevent too much fur from being washed down the utility sink when washing the clothes, potentially clogging drains.

3
Fill the washing machine with warm water. Add a cup of laundry detergent to the wash. Add your clothes into the wash.
-
4
Place your clothes in the dryer to dry completely.
-
5
Clean out the lint trap of your dryer. If the fur is not cleaned out of the lint trap every time your dry your clothes, the next load of laundry may get the fur on them. Not cleaning your lint trap can also cause fires.
