Things You'll Need

  • Plastic gloves
  • 1 cup isopropyl alcohol
  • 1 tbsp. clear ammonia
  • Small bucket
  • Spoon
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Spray bottle
  • Newspaper

Instructions

      Put on plastic gloves and open windows in the room to allow for proper ventilation. Proper care should be taken when pouring ammonia, as well, to prevent splashing and burning of your skin.

      Pour the isopropyl alcohol and clear ammonia carefully into a small bucket. Mix the solution with a spoon.

      Add the warm water to the bucket, and then continue to stir solution. Once you have completely mixed the solution, pour it into a spray bottle.

      Spray the solution onto the glass, and keep the solution on the glass for 30 seconds. Wipe the solution off of the glass with a newspaper.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never mix ammonia with bleach, as the fumes are highly toxic.

  • Do not use ammonia if you suffer from chronic respiratory problems, as the fumes may cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, laryngitis and watery eyes.
