How to Update Drivers for S3 Graphics

Video drivers can be updated in the Device Manager.

If you're experiencing problems with your graphics card, one possible solution is to check for new drivers. Frequently, updated drivers are released to correct any malfunctions or incompatibilities that have been discovered since the last drivers were released.

Things You'll Need

• S3 graphics video card
• Computer running Windows and connected to Internet

Instructions

1. Go to the Start menu and click on "Control Panel."

2. Click "System" in the Control Panel window. In the System window, click "Device Manager."

3. Click on the arrow or the plus sign located to the left of "Sound, Video and Game Controllers." This will open a drop-down menu.

4. Right-click on your S3 graphics video card and click "Update Driver Software." If new updates are available, they will be installed. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. If no drivers are available, you will be told that you have the latest drivers installed.
